It may not be The Shire, but Elijah Wood is selling the next best thing: his 130-year-old classic Victorian home in Austin.
The "Lord of the Rings" actor, famous for his role as Frodo Baggins, is selling his former home for $1.85 million. Wood bought the house for $1.075 million back in 2012 and has since made a great deal of upgrades to the three-story home.
The house, located at 608 W. Mary St., features luxury amenities like a clawfoot bathtub, marble countertops, hand-carved trim and banisters, a guesthouse and a large front porch, perfect for watching Texas' famous sunsets.
The 3,285-square-foot home has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, two living rooms and a third story that overlooks the Austin skyline.
The listing is held by Blake Taylor of Taylor Real Estate.
