Ever wonder what kind of grand home Texas' richest resident lives in? Turns out, it's not grand at all.

Elon Musk is living a humbler life than most when it comes to where he lives. Down in South Texas in what he calls Starbase, Texas, is reportedly a 20-feet-by-20-feet box that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO calls home.

He tweeted recently that he primarily lives in an approximately $50,000 home that he rents from SpaceX. He also said the only home he owns is in the Bay Area and is used for events.

The tiny home, The Houston Chronicle reports, is actually a "foldable, prefabricated home" from housing start-up Boxabl. In a YouTube video posted by the company at the end of last year, one of the founders of Boxabl hinted at Musk's residency by saying the home was for a "top secret customer" in Boca Chica, Texas—as if that wouldn't give it away.

With one large room as both a living room and a bedroom, a full kitchen and bathroom, what more could this billionaire need?
