Austin sees dusty skies preceding cool front
(Laura Figi/Austonia)

Have you been seeing hazy skies over Austin? You're not alone—Austin is experiencing a layer of dust as a result of a cool front to hit the area.

The cool front is coming from the Texas Panhandle and Kansas, bringing dusty skies along. According to the National Weather Service, the dust should begin to clear by the evening hours.

Aside form the dust, temperatures are expected to dip into the 50s tonight and tomorrow.

A second cold front is expected to hit Thursday, bringing more lasting cool weather.
