A multimillion-dollar, 12,000-square foot-estate once owned by Joe and Teresa Long, namesakes of The Long Center for the Performing Arts, caught fire early Friday morning at the 2300 block of Woodlawn Blvd. No people were inside the home as it was undergoing remodeling.

The fire at the home was under control as of about 7:30 a.m., more than three hours after the Austin Fire Department arrived on the scene.
