January cold temps, sunny skies here to stay

Keep your coats on deck this week as another cold front heads to Austin.


Just as temperatures are expected to reach 70 degrees midweek for the first time in days, another cold front will sweep through bringing temperatures back to freezing, according to the National Weather Service. And with the cold days will come a week of sunny skies.

Here's a look at the forecast:

Monday: 56/32

Tuesday: 66/44

Wednesday: 70/40

Thursday: 60/30

Friday: 56/44

The first cold front of the season came in over New Year's weekend after record-warm December temperatures.
