The Magnolia Cafe, which closed its iconic Lake Austin Boulevard location last month due to financial woes, will be testing out its protocols for pandemic-era brunch service at its South Congress location either this weekend or next weekend, and plans to announce a reopening date soon, co-owner Ava Cole told Austonia on Monday.

Cole said on Monday that the cafe would announce reopening dates shortly after testing brunch service.
