A Monday afternoon shooting is adding to the string of violent crime incidents that have taken place in the past few days.

Police responded to the 11900 block of Pavilion Blvd. after a 911 caller said a woman ran out of a motel room covered in blood from a gunshot wound. The woman was taken to the nearest hospital by Austin-Travis County EMS and is in stable condition.


When police entered the motel room that the woman ran from, they found a man dead from a gunshot.

Police say they believe two suspects are involved but did not release further information.

Anyone with information can call 512-477-3588 or 512-472-TIPS; a $1,000 reward is offered to anyone with tips that lead to an arrest in this case.
