It's difficult to imagine running any modern business without some sort of conferencing capability, whether it's video, web or audio-based. While video conferencing has become an integral part of daily operations for many businesses, many companies still don't have a go-to service for interacting with clients. As a result, participants have to navigate the less-than-ideal 'which service should we use' conversation before each meeting, adding further complexity and distracting from the purpose of the discussion.
Tito's is joining in on the virtual festival fun with its first ever, Tito's Made to Order Music Festival—a four-part virtual music festival kicking off at 7 p.m. Thursday with artists Channel Tres, Kali Uchis and Portugal. The Man.
The series will take place bi-weekly, each time representing a region—the first being the West; then the South at 7 p.m. Sept. 10 with Bun B, Morgan Wallen and Dierks Bentley; the East 7 p.m. Sept. 24 with A-Trak, Young M.A and Summer Walker; and ending in the North at 7 p.m. Oct. 8 with Claude VonStroke, Louis the Child and ZHU.
Tito's will be donating $100,000 to World Central Kitchen, with funds benefitting Black-owned restaurants and healthcare workers. During each show, viewers will be encouraged to make a donation that will enter them in a contest to win a virtual meet-and-greet with a festival headliner.
As a local reporter, I'm well versed in deciphering city council meeting agendas, press releases and COVID dashboards.
But even I'm overwhelmed by the current news cycle, which is crammed with critical stories—from pandemic trends and seemingly daily local policy changes to the upcoming 2020 election and post office updates.
So we at Austonia would like to offer readers a new way to get the news you want and need—at your fingertips.
By signing up for the free Austonia Text trial program, you'll receive one text, maybe two, with the day's top stories—straight from the reporters who wrote them.
There is a lot of news to keep up with right now: COVID-19 trends, protest coverage, near-daily City Council meetings, the upcoming 2020 election.
