A downtown favorite, Parkside has a weekday happy hour from 5 to 6 p.m. that will knock you out of the park. On Mondays, specialty martinis are half off, and from Tuesday to Saturday, you can get half off beer, cocktails and food including fries and oysters from the bar menu. Plus, you can get half off oyster platters and sparkling wine every Wednesday night.
Olive & June, 3411 Glenview Ave.
As part of Chef Shawn Cirkiel's Parkside Projects Restaurant and Hospitality Group, Olive & June is another great choice for getting a great deal during happy hour. From 5 to 6 p.m., you can get half off beer and cocktails plus snack on delicious antipasti options.
Café No Sé, 1603 S. Congress Ave
Rosé lovers will be happy to know there is a place in town where you can get 25% off all bottles and great reverse happy hour specials. Café No Sé offers a reverse happy hour everyday from 6 to 8 p.m. with $2 off beer, wine and menu cocktails, plus a speciality treat of 25% off bottles of rose everyday. Uchiko, 4200 N. Lamar Blvd.
Uchiko, the upscale sushi restaurant connected with the beloved Uchi, has a sake social everyday from 4 to 6 p.m. that might be one of the best deals in town. Award-winning chef Tyson Cole's blended knowledge on Japanese food and creativity in dishes is worth a visit any day of the week, but sake social is a happy hour not worth missing. P6, 111 E. Cesar Chavez St.
At the LINE austin, you will find a rooftop lounge with great happy hour specials, tasty cocktails and a great view. P6, located at the way top of the hotel, has a list of specialty curated Mediterranean small plates such as artisanal cheeses, whipped feta roasted tomato dip and more as well as seasonal cocktails that will make your visit worth it. Clark's Oyster Bar, 1200 W. 6th St.
Clark's Oyster Bar has a happy hour that will cheer up any Austinite, and on any day. From 3 to 5 p.m., any day of the week, you can find yourself ordering an unhealthy amount of oysters as they are 50 cents off. On weekdays, the happy hour includes half off burgers, $5 martinis, oyster shooters and draft beer. On weekends, Clark's has half off bottles of wine and $5 oyster shooters.
The Peached Tortilla, 5520 Burnet Road #100
From 5 to 7 p.m daily, The Peached Tortilla offers a happy hour with delicious bites and great cocktails. The happy hour includes $5 beers, $6 wine and cocktails, $4 tacos, $5 snacks such as shishito peppers and crispy fries and a $9 burger with peached sauce, american cheese, miso caramelized onions, japanese pickles and lettuce. Foxy's Proper Pub, 201 Brazos St.
Foxy's Proper Pub is kicking off it's grand opening with a St. Patrick's Day celebration. Starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, the pub will offer pints of Guinness served alongside an Irish breakfast, green beer, frozen Irish coffees and Dublin drops all day, along with live music and a limited menu of potato skins, fish and chips and corned beef. The new neighborhood pub is a new edition to downtown with an impressive cocktail list and an Irish whiskey selection to get you feeling lucky this St. Patrick's Day.
B. D. Riley's Irish Pub, 1905 Aldrich St.
B. D. Riley's Irish Pub is the place to visit this St. Patrick's Day. Starting at 9 a.m., the pub will have 50% limited capacity in their patio, live music starting at 12 p.m., food, Irish whiskey and "fine craic" all day. Not only is B. D. Riley's a classic Austin spot for all Irish things, but the entire pub itself was designed and built in Ireland and later shipped and assembled in Austin. It doesn't get any better than that.
Whitestone Brewery, 601 E. Whitestone Blvd.
Whitestone Brewery is another Austin spot to hit this St. Patrick's Day for fun festivities. The brewery will be offering two special beers, a Green Kölsch and Electro-Light Reps Pilsner all day, plus a happy hour from 12 to 5 p.m. featuring $1 off all pints. Additionally, Van's Damn Tasty Tacos will also be serving Irish tacos and Shepherd's pie to feed the day away and there will be a live music performance by The Detentions from 5-8 p.m.
Revelry Kitchen + Bar, 1410 E. 6th St.
Feel the luck this year with a good time and lots of Jameson at Revelry Kitchen + Bar. Stop by the bar on Wednesday for a St. Patrick's Day celebration with live music and Jameson cocktail and shot specials all night. The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. and will run until 12 a.m. Plus, you get to enjoy some fresh air with a music performance from The David Thacker Trio at 7 p.m. on the Revelry patio.
Corner Bar, 1901 S. Lamar
Spend this year's St. Patrick's Day at Corner Bar with live music, Jameson drink specials and a fun time. The bar will open at 12 p.m. and go on until 2 a.m., with a performance by DJ Kurupt to kick off the festivities. The neighborhood bar has over 20 draft beers and Brown's Bar-B-Que to provide guests with delicious food.
Scholz Garten, 1607 San Jacinto Blvd.
Spend this St. Patrick's Day at Scholz Garten with some luck at the oldest beer garden in the country. From 5-8 p.m. enjoy lucky drink specials, green beer and food deals plus a live music performance by Will & The Wilderness from 6 p.m. to close. To add to all the fun, live bagpipers will be helping spread the Irish spirit at Scholz.
Waterloo Ice House, multiple locations
Not sure what to do yet this St. Patrick's Day? Whether you're planning on staying home or going out, Waterloo Ice House has an option for everyone. Enjoy green beers, $5 Jameson, Guinness and Irish car bombs at any location, plus a free snack queso if you wear green. If you're planning on celebrating at home, Waterloo Ice House is offering cocktail kits to help you enjoy the festivities.
Round Rock Tavern, 113 W. Main St.
Although a St. Patricks Celebration with a crawfish, crab and shrimp boil isn't traditional, it sounds too good to pass up. This year, celebrate the lucky holiday with a crawfish boil hosted by Round Rock Tavern with Eastside Boilers. The boil will be served at 4 p.m. until it runs out, so preorder online to make sure you get the delicious goods. Happy hour is from 12-8 p.m., so you get all day to enjoy great deals.
Barr Mansion, 10463 Sprinkle Road
Celebrate St. Patricks day with a pizza party at Barr Mansion. The historic Austin mansion will have special bangers and mash pizza along with other Irish foods, live music and green beer provided by Hopsquad Brewing. The event will run from 5-9:30 p.m., and the pizzas will be sold by demand so make sure to pre-order online before they sell out.
St. Patrick's Day Block Party, Rock Rose Avenue
Looking for the best Shamrock shenanigans in town? Join three different bars on Rock Rose Avenue for a St. Patrick's Day block party!
Jack & Ginger's, Wonder Bar Austin and 77° Rooftop Patio Bar will be hosting an all day event for all Irish lovers. The block party will feature live music, green beer, drink specials, Irish and American comfort foods and bagpipes all for an ultimate St. Patrick's Day Celebration. For $10, you can enter all three bars and enjoy the biggest celebration in town.
