A light at the end of the tunnel, the State Health Department reports Texas has administered more vaccines than the current total active COVID-19 cases.

As of Thursday, Texas has 2,120,299 confirmed cases of the virus, while roughly 2,136,285 people have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Travis County currently has a total of 5,008 active cases and 70,631 overall. The State's vaccine tracker reports Travis County has vaccinated 82,080 with at least one dose.

Some JuiceLand production facility workers and storefront employees are organizing to demand wage increases, better working conditions (including air conditioning in the warehouse) and pay transparency, among other asks. They are also calling on staff to strike and customers to boycott the Austin-based company until their demands are met.

JuiceLand responded on Saturday. "We are listening," the company wrote on their Instagram story. "JuiceLand crew now makes guaranteed $15 an hour or more companywide."
